This is Kollafjörður bay. The island you see here is Viðey, the largest island of the bay. The island's size is about 1,7 square km. Its highest point is 32 m above sea level. It has a rich bird life, with about 30 species breeding here. The house (Viðey house) you see is a restaurant. Not far from there is the Imagine Peace Tower. It is a "Tower of Light" envisioned and built by artist Yoko Ono as a memorial to John Lennon.
