Description
This is "The Geysir". The Geysir is now a slightly circular geyserite slab about 14 meters in diameter. In the centre of the slab is a hole filled with hot water. The hole is some 3 meters wide and 23 meters deep. In 2003, the frequency of eruptions was reduced to about 3 times per day, but nowadays, eruptions are very rare.
